More Than Beauty

Trees and Shrubs on your property provide more than beauty -- they increase the value of your home. Nationwide surveys show that trees in a well-landscaped yard can increase the value of a house by 7 percent to 19 percent. Well-landscaped yards with mature large trees and shrubs that provide sophistication fetch higher prices and sell more quickly. Let Blooming Colors provide the ultimate "curb appeal" with beautiful trees and shrubs!

Retail hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It is a short drive from Southlake, Colleyville, Westlake, Trophy Club, Keller and Flower Mound. Call (817) 416-6669 with questions.

What makes the Blooming Colors garden center different?

The garden center sits on about 4 acres of wooded hillside beside a natural spring-fed stream, shaded by native pecans, cedars and elms. Inside, a 7,000-square-foot building with 40-foot clerestory ceilings houses fountains, unique gift items and landscape displays. It is also home to our landscape design and outdoor living teams, so the plants and the people who design with them are in one place.

What does the garden center carry?

We carry trees and shrubs, perennials and annual flowering plants, plus outdoor accessories including fountains, statuary, pottery, outdoor lighting, smart outdoor sound systems and unique gifts. Selection changes with the seasons, so follow @bloomingcolorsnursery on Instagram for current sales and specials, or call (817) 416-6669 to ask about a specific plant.

Can I special order Campania fountains and planters?

Yes. Submit our Campania Special Order form and our special order manager will contact you with more information and pricing. Many Campania fountains and planters are made to order and can take up to 6–8 weeks to be delivered, so all special orders require a non-refundable half-down deposit. You can browse the full Campania product catalog before ordering.

Does Blooming Colors sell Christmas trees?

Yes. Christmas trees are a seasonal tradition at our Grapevine garden center. Each season we take pre-orders through a form on our website; once you submit it, we send a secure payment link to reserve your tree and email you when it is ready for selection. You can choose pick-up or delivery, and early orders get the best selection.

Who can help me choose plants at the garden center?

Our staff includes Texas Master Certified Nursery Professionals and 19 Proven Winners Certified Gardeners, trained to select and handle every plant for health, vigor and performance. They can help you choose varieties proven to handle North Texas clay, summer heat and sudden cold snaps, and connect you with our landscape designers if your project grows beyond a weekend planting.

How should I care for new trees, shrubs and beds in North Texas?

Apply 2–3 inches of mulch in spring and fall to hold moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize trees and shrubs with 24-0-0 in early spring and fall, prune dead or diseased branches annually, and check monthly for pests. Water lawns deeply in the early morning 3–4 times a week, increasing to 6–7 days a week during summer droughts.
